Cloud gaming is a process in which – just like with Netflix, for example – users stream content from remote servers to their output device, in this case your mac.

  • Where cloud gaming differs from TV streaming platforms is in the fact that for gaming, you need output without latency (e.g. your mouse being sluggish because of the streaming). This creates high bandwidth and signal requirements for end-users, and proximity to servers becomes highly influential for your best experience.
