If your Chrome, Edge, IE or Firefox browser has been taken out of your control by a program called Luckysite123 that has changed its homepage and default search engine, as well as performing various redirections without your agreement, we can help you remove the invasive program and revert the changes that it has implemented. However, before we show you how to uninstall the nagging software and remove it, we must ensure that you have a thorough understanding of what this program actually is and what it can potentially do to your PC apart from what we already mentioned. Additionally, you will need to learn how you can prevent such programs from being installed onto your PC in the future so that your system stays clean and safe. All of this information will be provided to you in the next several paragraphs.

Luckysite123 and Browser Hijackers

As was already established above, the Luckysite123 “Virus” is a program that messes with your browser and enforces certain changes to it without asking for permission from the Administrator of the computer. Because of this, we consider it to be a Browser Hijacker. This is a very widely spread type of software and many users encounter it on a daily basis. Typically, applications of this kind are used for online advertising and promoting. However, oftentimes the marketing techniques they use can be quite aggressive and obstructive. Besides, usually these programs have little to no value for the users themselves, making them quite undesirable. This is also why most people want to have the Luckysite123 “Virus” removed from their machine as soon as they realize that it has been installed on the computer. This what we also advise you to do once you’re finished reading this article. Even if the Browser Hijacker possesses some form of an useful feature/function, the negative effects that come from the program vastly outweigh any potential assets that it may (or may not) provide you with.

Hijackers and malware/PC viruses

Browser Hijackers are certainly undesirable to say the least. However, there is a very widely spread misconception regarding how dangerous they actually are. Even though they are oftentimes referred to as malware or viruses, the truth is that those programs are actually quite harmless in terms of potential damage that they might cause to your PC. In most cases, nothing they do is permanent and as soon as you remove the unwanted software, the negative effects will cease. On the other hand, there are types of viruses like the infamous Ransomware, which make sure that even removing them won’t be enough to restore things to to their previous state. Therefore, know that even if a Browser Hijacker has been installed onto your machine and is currently nagging you with its presence, there’s hardly a reason to be worried and concerned. Just make sure to be careful around it and remove it as soon as possible.

What Browser Hijackers can do to your PC and why it is important to eliminate them

While programs like Luckysite123 might usually not be an actual security threat, they are certainly something you’d be better off without. The changes to your browser/s are only part of the unwanted effects that those applications might cause when installed on one’s computer.

Make sure to protect your machine!

Obviously, Browser Hijackers are quite an annoyance but if you follow a couple of simple rules and guidelines to keep your PC safe, it is almost certain that you won’t have to deal with them any more.
