A dangerous virus or a harmless PUP?

Usually, as long as a program does something intrusive and unwanted it is referred to as malware. However, this is not quite how things are in reality. Actual viruses like Ransomware and Trojans are the ones that can really harm your PC. On the other hand, most Browser Hijackers are somewhat safe. Though they might be annoying and invasive, they usually pose no threat to your system. This is why they should be categorized as PUP’s (potentially unwanted programs) and not viruses. Still, this is not to say that the program should not be removed, but if you are dealing with Ozip, then there is likely no reason to worry.
