On September 11, 2011, Americans turned their eyes to New York City, and the vacant space in the skyline where the towers that fell 10 years ago would still be. That patch of cityscape was dedicated as National September 11 Memorial, a tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the attacks on that day. #

Neil, I would have thought you'd done your due diligence regarding the effects of hydraulic-fracturing! It is in no way the lesser of two evils. I gather you have not researched the level of air contaminants the process of "fracking" expels. This issue is not controversial for environmentalists-environmentalists want to completely ban fracking, bypass natural gas as an energy source and invest heavily in renewables as soon as possible. There are plenty of other options out there, you simply fail to mention them.

Thanks for the response, Rachel. Could you give us some examples of the other options you mentioned? We'd love to look into them.
