Thank you for this post on Re-Boot. I might qualify as a "youth activist," but I'm working with a small and nimble team, Bank-On-Rain to create the most sustainable solutions we can find (I'm the only "youth" team member). We're focusing efforts on rainwater catchment to help small groups of people maintain access to clean water sources.
We learning about what makes projects successful and what makes projects fail has been our strongest guiding force thus far..... what works? 'Appropriate technologies'? Grassroots solutions? Focus on one small area at a time? Site visits--talking to and learning about the people who need change?
I'm trying to find the good answer and bad answers ~ focusing on the good and starting small. I think that we all have a lot to learn from each other.
