Drop and give me 25, changemaker! It’s Social Action Boot Camp.

   /   Jun 17th, 2010International, News

This Saturday, June 19, a host of young people with plans to build a better world will descend on San Francisco for Do Something’s free Social Action Boot Camp, which targets changemakers under 25. The event addresses questions of concern to social entrepreneurs, from leadership to marketing to building cross sector partnerships.

Can’t make it to the Fog City? The Boot Camp will be broadcast live from Dowser (see  below) and a number of other sites. And if you have any questions for the panelists and speakers, post them via Facebook or tweet them to @justgoodtv with the word #dscamp in the message.

Do Something works to make social action engaging and fun for teenagers and young adults. Their hallmarks have been providing weekly $500 grants, managing a massive volunteer opportunity database, and hosting the celeb-fueled Do Something Awards. They are part of an expanding group of organizations that supports young social innovators including Youth Venture, YouthActionNet and Free the Children.
